As president and founder of Menard Construction, Thomas D. Menard has been involved in building since his youngest days. He is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and an award winning builder. He attended the University of Delaware earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

After college graduation, Tom worked for Whiting-Turner, a large construction management company, and continued to improve on his valuable skills while managing multi-million dollar commercial construction projects. However, Tom always had the desire to start his own construction company so as a lifelong resident of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, that is where he began. He has over twenty years experience building and remodeling custom homes in New Jersey.

Tom has earned awards for the Best Green Remodel as well as Best Historic Renovation from the North Jersey Builders Association. Tom’s expertise and thorough knowledge of local ordinances and building codes has proven an invaluable resource for The Menard Group.

Tom, his wife, Mary, an active real estate agent and their two children reside in the Mountain Lakes community where they are active citizens. Tom and Mary are involved in many local charity organizations. Tom takes great pride in his high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. He truly sees his craft as an art form and strives for total customer satisfaction on each project.
